Network Innovations (NI) is thrilled to support Ray Zahab, Canadian Adventurer and Founder of non-profit impossible2Possible, as he embarks on an expedition across Ellesmere Island.

Introducing Ray Zahab, a Canadian Adventurer, ultra-distance runner, and Founder of non-profit impossible2Possible. From running 17,000+ kilometers across the world’s deserts, to embarking on expeditions in some of the coldest places on the planet, Ray has relentlessly taken on a wide variety of challenges.

In 2008, Ray founded impossible2Possible (i2P) – an organization that aims to inspire and educate youth through adventure learning, inclusion, and participation in expeditions. Helping these groups and individuals take their next step on the road to adventure, he shares his experiences in classrooms all over the world in real time using the latest technology.

So, what's RAY's next challenge?

For Ray, the adventure doesn’t stop. His next expedition will take him across Ellesmere, Canada’s northernmost and third largest island. From south to north, Ray will be covering 1,200-1,400 kilometers – completely self-contained and unsupported. Covered with glaciers and ice, this seldom-seen island is renowned for its awe-inspiring scenery and landscapes, providing the ultimate arctic adventure.

On every leg of this epic journey, Ray will remain connected. Network Innovations is thrilled to once again, be working alongside Ray in his mission to Succeed. Anywhere.

Equipped with Iridium® PTT satellite phones, an Iridium® GO!, and an EXPLORER 510 BGAN, Ray is able to update his followers and share his experience to classrooms around the globe from one of the most remote corners of the world.

"Satellite is critical to me. I connect the expeditions I am doing with classrooms all over the world who are following along. With my access to satellite using the BGAN, I am shooting and uploading content daily. This means that students can be immersed into the locations that I'm in and learn about them."
