In industries where every second counts, connectivity is an invisible force powering progress. In 2025, we're hitting the road to attend some influential industry events, exploring how digital infrastructure is shaping the future of critical industries.
Just last week, our team exhibited at The Emergency Services Show, Europe's leading annual event for the blue light community.
This year was particularly exciting as we used the show as the platform to launch Peplink's new Antenna MAX S. Designed with the needs of emergency responders in mind, the MAX S represents a major step forward in ensuring connectivity, combining the strengths of Peplink and Starlink.
Alongside the launch, we also introduced our latest white paper, which explores the challenges and opportunities facing emergency services organisations as they adapt to increasingly complex operational environments. The paper highlights real-world use cases and outlines how technology such as the Antenna MAX S can play a vital role in keeping critical teams communicating.
What's Powering Innovation
At the heart of what we do is a commitment to driving innovation that genuinely meets the needs of emergency services teams.
UK blue light services (police, fire, ambulance and others) face growing communication challenges as ageing infrastructure struggles to keep pace with data-heavy technologies such as body-worn cameras, connected medical devices, drones and cloud-based control systems.
While the Airwave (TETRA) system remains reliable for voice, it cannot support the high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity responders need today. The transition to the 4G-based Emergency Services Network (ESN) is intended to bridge this gap but has faced delays, leaving agencies managing dual systems. Interoperability, patchy rural coverage and the need for secure, resilient communication continue to add complexity.
"For me, innovation is about really understanding the challenges our teams face on the frontlines," says Luke Proctor, our Business Development Manager and author of our latest white paper. "Writing the white paper gave me a chance to explore those challenges and outline practical solutions that make a real difference in the field. It’s all about combining technology with hands-on experience to help teams stay connected, safe and effective."
As a trusted technology integrator, Network Innovations brings global expertise and, crucially, the backing of Peplink as a premium integration partner. Our flexible, end-to-end approach covers consultation, system design, deployment, training and ongoing support, ensuring every solution aligns with the real-world needs of responders. This enables teams to rely on technology that actually works in the field, helping them save time, stay informed and remain safe.
